About Singapore

In 2016 two hawker stalls (Hong Kong Soya Sauce Chicken Rice & Noodle and Hill Street Tai Hwa Pork Noodle) became the first street-food vendors in the world to win Michelin stars. Eat at Maxwell Food Centre or Lau Pa Sat first, then work outward; the same city also holds a deep fine-dining bench around Marina Bay and the National Gallery.
